British nationals require a passport and a visa to enter Kazakhstan, though precisely which visa and which price band is necessary seems to change on a near-weekly basis. In general though, prices start at around £23 for a single-entry visa valid for up to 90 days. Kazakh laws changed recently, meaning British nationals need a ‘letter of invite’ as well as a visa to enter the country, and it now proves very difficult to obtain a visa from Kazakh borders.
