British Airways offer regular flights to Almaty, with costs starting at around £205 for an economy class one way ticket. Other operators offering flights to Kazakhstan include Aeroflot, Austrian Airlines, KLM, Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines. Flights from London to Almaty take approximately eight hours, and Almaty’s international airport offers everything that would be expected including bus and taxi services into the city. Also offered is car hire, a restaurant, duty free shops and a post office.
